The NMSU Police Department is led by a senior management team consisting of the Chief of Police and two Lieutenants. The Chief of Police reports directly to the Assistant Vice President of Public Safety. This team has over 60 years of combined law enforcement experience. They work with other law enforcement agencies in the region, other departments on campus, and various community, state, and national organizations to help ensure the safety of NMSU students, faculty, staff, and guests.
